Terms and conditions

1. Who we are
Meldstem is a trading name of Tundra Studio, a sole proprietorship based in the Netherlands and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number 92820409. These terms apply to your use of the website meldstem.com and to every agreement you enter into with us. You can reach us at info@meldstem.nl.
2. The service
With Meldstem you create professional phone greetings yourself. You type the text, pick a voice and listen to a free preview. After payment you receive the final audio file, straight away in the right format for your phone system. The voices are generated with artificial intelligence.
3. Offer and prices
All prices on the website are in US dollars, unless explicitly stated otherwise. We may adjust our offer and prices; for an order already placed, the price at the time of ordering applies. Sales tax, if applicable, is not currently calculated or added at checkout.
4. Ordering and payment
An agreement is formed once you place an order and payment is confirmed. Payment is handled by our payment provider Mollie, by credit card. The final file is only released for download after payment has actually been confirmed.
5. Delivery
Delivery is digital: after confirmed payment we make the file available to download, usually straight away. If you have an account, you can find your orders under 'My account'.
6. Refunds
Our greetings are digital files, custom-made to the text and voice you chose, and delivered immediately after payment. Because of this, all sales are final once the download becomes available; we do not offer refunds for a completed download. If something is genuinely wrong with your file, contact us and we will make it right. This section is not legal advice; consumer protection rules vary by state.
7. Use of the files
After payment you receive the right to use the greeting without limitation for the telephony of your own organisation. Reselling or distributing the greeting as a standalone audio file is not permitted.
8. AI voices and voice cloning
The voices are generated with artificial intelligence; we state this transparently in line with applicable regulations. Every delivered audio file carries a machine-readable, inaudible marking in its file metadata identifying the audio as AI-generated, as required by the European AI Act (Article 50). Cloning a voice is only possible with demonstrable, pre-recorded consent, and the result is marked as AI-generated.
9. Liability
We make every effort to provide a correct and available service, but cannot guarantee that it always works without errors or interruptions. Our liability is limited to the amount of the relevant order; we are not liable for indirect damage, to the extent permitted by law.
10. Complaints and applicable law
If you have a complaint, please contact us at info@meldstem.nl; we will respond as soon as possible. These terms and our agreements are governed exclusively by Dutch law.
11. Music rights for on-hold audio
The music in our on-hold products comes from makers who have fully waived their rights under the CC0 license and who, to the best of our knowledge, are not affiliated with any collecting society (such as Buma/Stemra or Sena in the Netherlands). Every order includes a rights statement, and we keep a supporting file per track (origin, license and sources), available on request via info@meldstem.nl. We provide this substantiation in good faith and based on careful research; it does not constitute legal advice or a blanket indemnification. If you also play other music on your phone line, your own licensing obligations for that music naturally continue to apply.
